Center of Competence for Media and Printing Technology
Ugra is the Swiss Centre of Competence for Media and Printing Technology and does research for the Printing Industry since more than 50 years. As a member of ISO TC 130 Ugra established numerous ISO standards. Today Ugra offers as a independent institute in a neutral country services and products for the assessment and improvement of quality. Furthermore Ugra certifies materials, persons and companies according to different standards or specifications. Ugra has an international focus and earns a big part of its turnover in foreign countries.
UDACT v1.3 no longer supporter under Mountain Lion OS X 10.8
With the new OS X 10.8, Mountain Lion, the UDACT version 1.3 is no longer supported and an update to version 2.0 is required. Existing customers with the version 1.3 can purchase the update for the price of CHF 249.00 (excl. delivery costs and VAT) and a new USB stick with a new license will be provided.

Ugra is accredited

Ugra received on March 2, 2006 the accreditation from the Swiss Accreditation Service SAS as Testing laboratory for testing of materials and products for the printing, security printing, paper and packaging industry according to the standard ISO/IEC 17025. The accreditation was regranted on March 2, 2011 after an audit for another 5 years until March 1, 2016. The accreditation will be inspected every year with an intermediate audit by SAS. The measurements of the Ugra laboratory are furthermore controlled by several round robin tests with different european test laboratories. Therefore Ugra is able, qualified and authorized to certify different materials and products. |
