Requirements for Laser and Inkjet Printers according to DIN 33870
The DIN 33870 describes the quality requirements for printers and copiers used in the office and data processing area. The following parameters are tested:
- Functionality of toner cassettes and ink cartriges
- Density of toners and inks
- Productivity of toners and inks
- Adhesion of toners and ink
These tests can be well used, in order to compare different toners and ink as well as different printing carriers (papers) with one another.

Proof Devices accordint to the Requirements of ECI
The ECI (European Color Initiative) is about to define in its workgroup "Proof" the requirements for proof printers. Ugra tests and certifies proofers accroding to these guidelines.
