For many years Ugra works on the standardization in the printing industry. In addition Ugra represents the Swiss printing industry in the ISO TC 130. In the further we participate in the standardization for the paper industry. In addition is Ugra member of the Swiss standard association SNV.
Adoption of Standards
The standards are released by the following technical commissions into the industry:
- swiss4color – Printing Technical Standards
- TK des VSLF – Printing Ink Standards
- TK des ZPK – Paper Standards
Normative / Informative
Two kinds of defaults exists in the ISO standards. On one hand normative and on the other informative.
Normative data must be kept. These values are to be considered absolutely.
Informative data can be used if necessary or in special situations. They are to be kept however not compellingly.
