Certificate Stage 1

Checked Quality



Certification Stage 1 is related to bags, carrier bags and garbage bags. Products certified as Checked Quality are tested and evaluated regarding physical parameters such as tear strength, further tear strength or impact dart drop as well as the practical values such as hang and shock test.

  • Test criteria:
  • Dimension
  • Tensile Strength/Elongation (load direction)
  • Further Tear Strength (Elmendorf)
  • Impact/Dart-Drop
  • Jog test
  • Static hang test
  • Shock test

Certificate Stage 2

Checked Quality & environmentally friendly (>80% PCR)



Certification Stage 2 is related to products being certified with “Blauer Engel“ acc. to RAL UZ 30a (2012). This certificate requires the Checked Quality-Certification (Stage 1). Furthermore these products have to be 100% recycable and their environmental benefit must be proofed by an eco balance through EMPA.

  • Test criteria:
  • all parameters of Stage 1
  • Proof of environmental benefit through a eco balance
  • Proof of >80% washed Post Consumer Material (PCR) (Certificate «Blauer Engel» acc. to RAL UZ 30a (2012)
  • Clear evidence of material flows

Certificate Stage 3

Checked Quality & environmentally friendly (>85% renewable raw materials)

Certification Stage 3 is related to products being certified with acc. to DIN Certco, which are demonstrably made of more than 85% renewable raw material. This certificate requires the Checked Quality-Certification (Stage 1). Furthermore these products have to be 100% recycable and their environmental benefit must be proofed by an eco balance through EMPA.

  • Test criteria:
  • all parameters of Stage 1
  • Proof of environmental benefit through a eco balance
  • Proof of >85% renewable raw materials
  • Submission of Certifikate DIN Certco >85% biobased
