Description
The «Ugra/Foga Media Wedge CMYK® V3.0» is the standard to check and verify the color transformation from data to digital proofs or prints. The Media Wedge contains 72 measuring patches, defined with different area coverages of the process inks Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black. Dependent on the printing process and the printing substrate, each patch has a colorimetric target value allocated acc. to. ISO 12647.
The layout is fully compliant to the international standard ISO 12647-7 Process control for the production of half-tone colour separations, proof and production prints – Part 7: Proofing processes working directly from digital data.
Included in delivery are two layout versions:
- V3.0, (6 x 6) mm patch size
- V3.0a, (8.5 x 8) mm with gaps
The Ugra/Foga Medienkeil CMYK® V3.0 will be delivered as EPS and TIFF file format. The measuring evaluation is performed using a spectral photometer and an analysing software. For this purpose you can use a software such as Ugra CertifyPrint.
