Ugra Light Indicator Strip D50

Description

The Ugra Light Indicator Strip D50 is used to check, whether a standard illumination is compliant to the standard illuminant D50. The two green print colors form a metameric colour pair (conditional metameric match). Under the standard illuminant D50, the color patches appear virtually identical. Under any other illuminant, the color patches appear different. This type of metamerism is referred to as lighting metamerism caused by the different light spectrum of the relevant illuminants. Non-compliant light conditions are recognized easily and immediately. The product contains 50 self-adhesive labels trimmed to a format of 75 x 15 mm. The label is intended to be applied on colour-consistent proofs or prints such as retain samples. Visual colour matching becomes more secure as by means of the Ugra Light Indicator Strip D50 it is always recognizable, if the ambient light condition matches standard illuminant D50.
