Energy

Our test laboratory is air-conditioned in accordance with ISO 187 at (23 ± 1) °C and (50 ± 2) % relative humidity. With a new energy management system that we have been using since 2021, we have been able to sustainably reduce energy consumption (in kWh).

The energy consumption of the air conditioning system in the test laboratory is significantly influenced by the external weather conditions in summer and winter (humidity) and by the changing order requirements and workloads. These influencing factors cannot be controlled directly.

Mobility

Whenever possible and practical, our employees travel to business partners, customers and suppliers by public transport. Air and car travel is avoided as far as possible.

Resources

We use the 3R concept – "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle" – and ensure that resources are used responsibly.

In addition to the 3Rs of reduce, reuse and recycle, other “R“ concepts have also become established and can be used depending on the application: repair, remanufacture, refurbish, refuse, rethink, repurpose.
