Merger of the Ugra and PDFX-ready associations

Why a merger?

The planned merger of PDFX-ready with the Ugra Swiss Centre of Competence for Printing and Media Technology aims to combine the strengths of both organisations, create synergies, secure long-term prospects and further develop the range of services offered to members and partners. PDFX-ready’s technical activities will continue under the established brand – with the advantage of having a broader base and being better integrated into international standardisation bodies in future.

For members and interested parties, the merger primarily means continuity and new opportunities, with the chance for greater involvement and access to an expanded network. At the same time, great importance is attached to preserving existing identity elements and ensuring a transparent, phased transition.
