Impact testing of complete filled transport packages acc. to ISO 2248

The impact test of of complete filled transport packages acc. to ISO 2248 is carried out to examine the influence of a vertical impact after free fall on the package or the contents.

The package with contents (filling material) is placed on a drop table, lifted and dropped onto a flat drop surface in free fall. The different surfaces as well as the edges of the package can be tested. Afterwards, the package and its contents are inspected.
